About Us

Welcome to Gracious, Seattle’s specialty furniture and home accessories store, specializing in carefully selected vintage pieces.

Gracious was founded in 2010 by Deirdre and Tracy, two longtime friends with a passion for vintage furniture and interior design.  The store offers a wide selection of carefully selected, vintage, re-purposed treasures to enhance and invigorate your abode with a touch of personality.

We practice the ultimate in recycling, by updating and customizing vintage finds.  Many of our items are one-of-a-kind, and we have a wide range of products, from antique, classic, to modern, fun and funky.

By restoring, recovering and repurposing many items that would have been headed for a closet, basement or attic, we breathe new life into well made furnishings.  These quality pieces were made to last, and we believe this is a great way to recycle, help the planet and create beautiful interiors.  Our mission is to inspire customers to think twice before buying new, and discover the beauty of vintage furniture.

Whether you’re seeking that perfect missing piece, or redecorating your home, our design staff is ready to assist you in achieving the ambience you’ve always dreamed of.

Come visit us in our store, and follow our latest news, style trends and ideas here on our blog.

  1. I recently bought a 6 piece bedroom set, Thomasville solid wood, mid-century, bought it for our newly remodeled upstairs master suite and low and behold,, we can’t get up stairs! I am sick about it, it is a beautiful set, I bought it from a former co-worker who is moving and wanted it to go to a good home. I can send you pics, we are in Wallingford, the furniture is in our living room so it is not in model mode, I am in the process of having the former owner send us her Craigs’ list pic and can forward. It is really a lovely set, had my heart set on it for over a month, but we could not fit it up our narrow stairs and hallway :(. I have been to your shop before,, hope you can help me.
